Canaletto Hotel Venice Italy

Canaletto Hotel Venice Italy is located within the heart of the most romantic part of Venice, just a short walk (200 meters / 656 feet) from Piazza San Marco and Rialto Bridge.

However, the hotel surroundings are within a more quiet section of Venice, despite being so close to the center of the city.

For guests, the hotel is an ideal starting point for navigating the narrow streets that lead to the most famous monuments and high-profile shops, to the ancient and intriguing mysteries of Venice.

The name of the hotel comes from one of the most famous Venetian painters of all time: Canaletto. Today, the rooms that once housed the famous artist (1697-1768), there are elegant guest rooms.

As an accommodation that once house Canaletto himself, the hotel is an elegant, romantic, and peaceful, furnished in Venetian style of the XVIII century, complete with stuccos and ancient fabrics, lacquered and hand-gilded, including mirrors and chandeliers in Murano glass.

All the guestrooms are soundproofed and have private bathrooms with showers or baths, air conditioning, telephone, WiFi connections, minibars, satellite TVs, hairdryers, and a safe. If you choose a superior room, you’ll be located in a room overlooking either a canal or a typical Venetian square.

The facility rooms (for breakfast, bar, tv room, and internet point) are decorated with stuccos and painted with the ancient techniques of smooth plaster, and include sections where you can admire reproductions of works by Canaletto.
