All Angelo is positioned within a section of Venice’s center that houses many picturesque palaces, with many of the finest examples of Venetian Gothic style architecture among them, including the Hotel All’Angelo itself.
The hotel is known locally for its longstanding relationship with art and artists, and since is 1924, the palace has housed works of art from such masters as Matissè, Braque, Picasso, Harp, Vedova, Guttuso, and several others.
As a place of residence, Hotel All’Angelo features elegant spaces, including a summer garden terrace, open during the warmer months in Venice, when you can enjoy your breakfast al fresco.
There are a total of 56 guest rooms at the hotel for you to choose from, each classically furnished, providing a range of modern amenities and features, such as flat-screen satellite TVs and air conditioning. Some rooms offer Venetian wood-beamed ceilings and even views of the adjacent canal.
The guestrooms are available in categories of singles, doubles, suites and junior suites, all characteristically furnished in different styles, with authentic Biedermeir heritage furniture, rich deep colors, and brocade curtains.
WiFi broadband internet, meanwhile, is available in public areas of the hotel.
Daily breakfast is served in American buffet style, and includes homemade cakes and pastries to start your day right.
Other services at the hotel include its private landing dock, which is very convenient if you take a water taxi directly from, say, the Marco Polo Airport to the hotel, without need to carry your luggage around the old town.
There is also a hotel bar, ‘Wine Bar Hell’s Kitchen’, which has a wide choice of quality wines, accompanied by modern take on Italian cuisine, and selected dishes from Venetian tradition.
Guest services also include 24h reception / front desk, porter service, room service (from 8:30am to 11pm), and transfer service (upon request).
If you arrive via the main airport in Venice, Marco Polo Airport, you have several alternatives to choose from to get to the hotel, in terms of transportation.
One option is to take a private water taxi directly to the hotel. Another is to use a public shuttle ferry “Alilaguna” first to St Mark’s Square (with a travel time of around 1 hour 15 minutes). From the square, you’re 50 meters from the hotel.
