Arcadia Hotel Venice is a three star accommodation that dates from 17th century, located within the Cannaregio sestiere (district) of the city.
Historically, the hotel building was the Venetian residence of an aristocratic Roman family for centuries.
In 1950s, however, the building was turned into a hotel by the current owners, the Spolaore family, who have preserved the building’s original atmosphere.

This ancient palazzo has many Venetian details to admire, such as antique stuccoes, bare beams, and fine marble, as well as Venetian windows that overlook the adjacent Strada Nuova, and a lobby with a period Murano-glass chandelier.

Among the many services offered by the hotel include a complimentary visit to a real glass manufacturing workshop on the Island of Murano.

Next door to the hotel, you can find an outdoor fruit and vegetables marketplace, close to the San Marcuola water bus (vaporetto) stop. Venezia Santa Lucia train station is a short 5 minute walk away.
Hotel Arcadia is in within Cannaregio, one of the best areas of Venice for nightlife, as well as one of the most authentic areas of the city.
Because of the location is so close to the train station and to Piazzale Roma, Arcadia Hotel is a great base for touring Venice and the Veneto region.
Within a short walk from the hotel, you’ll find many tourist attractions, churches, monuments, and interesting historical landmarks, as well as a short walk from Venice’s Jewish Ghetto, near Rialto Bridge.

One of the options is to take a a water taxi, which will bring you within meters of the hotel (always agree on a price before getting onboard a water taxi).
You can also take “Venezia Air Terminal” bus to Piazzale Roma, a journey that takes about 20 minutes.
From Piazzale Roma, the car/bus terminus in Venice, you can take water bus (vaporetto) no. 1 or 82, getting off at ‘San Marcuola’ stop.
Then, you should cross the alley opposite you, and once at Rio Terrà della Chiesa, you should turn into Rio Terrà Cristo carrying straight on until Rio Terrà San Leonardo, turning left, and then carrying on until you reach number the hotel.
