Ca Pisani Hotel Venice Italy

Four-star Ca Pisani Hotel Venice Italy, the first design hotel in Venice, offers boutique accommodation within a 14th century Venetian palace.

Putting emphasis on style, comfort, and personality, the interiors of the design hotel show Art Deco influences, coupled with original furniture fixtures from the 1930s and 1940s…while the technology solutions are all 21st century.

Some of the unique touches at the Hotel Ca’ Pisani include its artwork, from key artistic figures of the Italian Futurist movement, such as Fortunato Depero (1892-1960). Other notable names that have contributed art to the hotel include Ugo Sissa, a Venetian artist, and several other notable 20th century painters.

As a design hotel, all the details in the building have been considered and created with the guests in mind, from the eye-pleasing reception counter, to the fish-shaped ebony keys, doors and door handles, and the logos on the wardrobe doors.

Location of the hotel is excellent, in Venice’s ‘artistic city center’, the delightful Dorsoduro district, within a more quieter area of Venice.

A short walk from the hotel, you can find many cultural tourist attractions, including the famous Accademia art gallery, an ideal starting point for a sightseeing tour of Venetian lagoon.

If you are coming to Venice from Marco Polo international airport, you have several alternatives to getting to the hotel. One is water taxi, the fastest (and most expensive) way to reach the hotel, with the closest water taxi stop being just 100 meters from the Ca’ Pisani Hotel.

You can also take Alilaguna water bus, a public waterbus shuttle service, connecting Marco Polo airport to the Zattere area. Alilaguna water bus route takes about 1 hour 20 minutes, with stops along the way at Murano, Venice Lido, Arsenale, St. Mark’s and Zattere. Hotel Ca’ Pisani is only 100 meters from the Zattere / Accademia boat stops.

Arriving into the train station S. Lucia, you can take a water taxi, or water buses, lines 1 or 2, to the direction of Saint Mark’s Square. The closest water bus stop is at “Accademia”, from where the hotel is only 100 meters away.

Guestrooms at the hotel are exquisitely decorated, using original pieces of furniture in Art Deco style. Standard amenities feature flat-screen TV, air conditioning, safe, in-room WiFi wireless broadband internet connection, and standard bathroom equipment.

Room types to choose from include Junior suites, Duplex rooms (on two levels), Family rooms, Deco’ Deluxe rooms, Deco’ Superior rooms, and Deco’ rooms.

Although all of the rooms feature wireless internet connections, you can also use the hotel’s Internet Point in the mezzanine, where you can work online or check email.

Facilities also include a solarium terrace, open from springtime until autumn, a Turkish bath, fully equipped fitness facilities on a nearby building, and La Rivista restaurant, which serves modern versions of classic Venetian cuisine dishes.

Of these, La Rivista has a design that is unique to Venice, echoing the Art Deco & Futurist character of the Ca Pisani Hotel Venice Italy.

The restaurant floor’s marble decoration is a floral pattern designed by the Futurist painter Fortunato Depero, while the restaurant’s bar counter is an original piece from the 1940s, resulting in a modern, warm and welcoming environment for the guests.

La Rivista, which is open daily (except Mondays) from noon to 11pm, also has outdoor seating.
