The 2 star Caprera Hotel Venice Italy has a great location, within Cannaregio, the artistic city center of Venice.
Cannaregio, one of the most characteristic areas of the city, contains several Venice highlights, including the Jewish Ghetto, Frari’s Church, School of Saint Rocco, and the University of Ca’ Foscari.

Other major Venetian tourist attractions are not too far away either, with, for example, Saint Mark’s Square being just a 20 minute walk away.
In fact, the walk towards St. Mark’s Square contains some of the best shopping streets in the city. As an alternative, however, you can also take a public water bus (vaporetto), with the closest stop being just 200 meters from the hotel (next to the S. Lucia train station).
From that water bus stop, line 1 will take you Saint Mark’s Square in 15 minutes, through the main waterway in Venice, the Grand Canal.
Hotel Caprera, which was founded in 1953, is family owned and managed, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, combined with a friendly service.
Today, the hotel contains a total of 14 guestrooms, all with modern comforts and access to up-to-date facilities, such as an internet point, if you don’t want to bring your own laptop with you to Venice.
The guestrooms, which are spread around the palazzo’s three floors, include, for example, private bathrooms, satellite TVs, and balconies.
