Firenze Venice Hotel is a three star hotel, located just 30 meters from Piazza San Marco, the main tourist attraction in Venice and the heart of the city.
The historical building of the hotel was first constructed during the early of the 16th century, adjacent to the historical center of Venice.

Later, in 1853, the building was reconstructed to its current form by the the famous Italian architect, Fuin.
His inspiration for the new facade of the building came from the Procuratie Vecchie palazzos that are located within the nearby Saint Mark’s Square.
As a result of the renovations and rebuilding, the hotel is located within an amazingly elegant and stylish building, balancing delicate details in marble and iron, retaining charm of its original Venetian style.
The same Venetian style is also apparent in the hotel rooms, which have such features as Murano glass lamps, classic furnishings, and some rooms even contain private palazzo balconies.
All in all, the hotel building covers an area of about 750 square meters, containing 25 guest rooms to choose from, four floors (the hotel has an elevator).
Some of the standard amenities in the Venetian decor rooms include private bathrooms (with bathtubs or showers), hairdryers, air conditioning, radio, satellite TVs, safes, minibars, and telephones.
If you bring your own laptop/smartphone/tablet computer, you can take advantage of the hotel’s wireless Wifi broadband internet.
For getting a bit more luxury for your stay at the hotel, you can choose to stay at one of the fourth floor rooms, which feature private balconies. Although, on the fifth floor, there is a common balcony with views of the city, Saint Mark’s Basin, and the Basilica di San Marco.
Breakfast, meanwhile, is served, during the summer months, within the rooftop terrace, which features great views of the Saint Mark’s tower bell. In the colder months, the hotel serves breakfast on the 1st floor breakfast room.
To getting around in Venice, Firenze Hotel has a convenient location, only a short walk from the nearest water bus (vaporetto) stop.
Additional services at the hotel include:
Reception personnel that can assist in booking tickets and tours
Free excursions to Murano
Guided tours to the Venetian islands
Booking “Venice by night with gondola and music”
Welcome drink and Amaretti (stylish & tasty Italian cookies)
It is easy to get to the hotel from the airport, train station, and Piazzale Roma, thanks to the hotel’s location, a stone’s throw from Saint Mark’s Square.

From Marco Polo airport, as an example, one of the options to getting to the hotel is taking ‘ALILAGUNA’ water ferry shuttle, which will take you to the stop at Saint Mark’s Square in about an hour. At Saint Mark’s Square, you should walk to the left, turning right on Calle Vallaresso, and then following it for about 100 meters to the hotel.
Another alternative is to take a private water taxi from the airport to Rio San Moisè. Always check and agree on the water taxi price before going on board one.
