As a residence, the hotel is located in an ancient 16th century palazzo, featuring elegant Venetian 18th century style furnishings and a great location within the historic center of Venice.
When it was constructed, the hotel’s palatial building was meant to be used as a hotel, being functional and welcoming for this purpose from the start.
If you need advice or assistance during your stay, the hotel’s front desk personnel is there to provide information on current events in Venice, the best restaurants nearby, and help/assist in how you can book tickets to concerts/theater and guided tours in the city.
For example, the front desk can help arrange a guided tour to the island of Murano that includes a visit to one of the most famous Venetian glass factories, a visit during which you’ll discover the secrets of this very ancient local artform.
All in all, you can choose from a total of 30 guest rooms, furnished in Venetian style, with such detailed features as
lacquered and wood furniture, damask wall coverings, beds with padded bed heads, ceiling beams, and traditional Venetian colors.
24 of the rooms are doubles, some of them superior rooms, with private baths, 5 singles (three of which with bath), and there is also 1 suite available, with a double bed and a divan bed.
In terms of amenities, all of the rooms have satellite TVs, hair dryers, telephones, air conditioning, and safes.
For views, some of the superior rooms overlook a characteristic Venetian canal, while the rooms on the top floor have private terraces.
