Many of the loyal guests who use the hotel from year to year come to Venice for one of the many annual events and festivals, such as Venice Biennale Arte, Biennale Architettura, Biennale Musica, Venice Intl. Film festival, and the Venetian Carnival.
Of the hotel’s 23 guest rooms, each has amenities and features such as telephones, air conditioning, private bathrooms (except for some double and single rooms), and some rooms face a small, idyllic canal in front of the hotel.
Guest rooms at Locanda Silva are spread within three floors. From the top floor, you’ll find two terraces, a great place for just taking a relaxing moment after a day sighseeing and shopping in Venice.
Other services at the hotel include Wifi broadband internet access, as well as an Internet Point, if you decide not to bring your laptop/smartphone/tablet computer with you to Venice.
Thanks to the hotel’s location within the very heart of Venice, close to the historic center of the city, you can quickly get from the hotel to other districts and islands in the lagoon, with the nearest water bus (vaporetto) stop, ‘San Zaccaria’, being a 3 minute walk away.
From ‘San Zaccaria’, you can take ferry shuttles and water buses to, for example, Marco Polo Airport, Lido-Venice, Murano island, and Giudecca.
Some of the tourist attractions near the hotel include Piazza San Marco, Rialto Bridge and the Rialto area, which is a vital part of Venice, with most of the best shops and market places can be found.
