Hotel Villa Cipro Venice Italy is a three star hotel in the island of Lido, situated between the sea and the lagoon, on a charming, renovated historic building that has a private garden.
This hotel is very conveniently located (and priced), if you are in the city to attend the annual Venice Film Festival, with the closest vaporetto (water bus) stops being nearby.

From the water bus stop, you can get to the historic Venice center, Saint Mark’s Square and Rialto Bridge, in 10 minutes.
As a place to stay during your holiday in Venice, Villa Cipro is a characteristically Venetian, family run hotel, located approximately in the Gran Viale (main street) of Lido-Venice.
Just a minutes walk from the hotel, you’ll find ‘Des Bains beach’, famously the place where Thomas Mann (in 1922) finished his opera “La morte a Venezia”, and where, in 1973, Luchino Visconti made his greatest work of cinematography.
Among the charming features of the hotel, there is an elegant garden for guests’ use, where you can sit and relax after a long day sightseeing in the historical center of Venice.
In terms of architecture, The villa has been designed in a ‘Liberty’ style, influenced by works by famous architects of the time like Giuseppe Torres, Attilio Perez, and Brenno del Giudice.
You can choose from a total of 20 guest rooms at the hotel, available in categories Single Rooms, Double Rooms, and Three Bedrooms, each featuring modern comforts and amenities you’d expect from a three star hotel.
These amenities and features include bath/shower, air conditioning, minibar, crib and extra bed (available on request), satellite TV, telephones, wireless (Wifi) broadband Internet, safety deposit box, hairdryer, and a lift (to all floors).
Rooms at the Villa Cipro Hotel are decorated in classic style and with tiled floors.
For services, the breakfast room is open from 7:30am to 10am, an in the summer months, the American buffet breakfast is served out in the garden.
There are also several very good restaurants in the surrounding Lido districts.
Villa Cipro has its own American bar, “La Terrazza”, with a selection of international cocktails, with the bar open all day long.
To get to the historic Venice city center from the hotel (at Via Zara 2), you’ll find the Gran Viale Santa Maria Elisabetta just next door, from where the nearest water bus (and water taxi) connections depart.
If you arrive in Venice via the international airport, “Marco Polo” Airport, one way to get to Lido is to use the “Alilaguna” shuttle ferry boat service, which takes around 40 minutes to reach Lido.

You can also take a private water taxi, but always agree on price before going onboard, as these water taxis are much more expensive than the public ferries.
From Piazzale Roma bus terminal, on the other hand, you can proceed to Lido with the public ACTV vaporetto water buses, line no. 5.1, 5.2, or 6.1, for example.
