KUMU Art Museum Tallinn Estonia showcases modern & contemporary art, within a groundbreaking building, a design by architect Pekka Vapaavuori.
As a museum, the place is, in fact, the largest of its kind within Baltic countries, and it is also one of the major art institutions in Northern Europe…
…as well as one of the five museums within the Estonian Art Museum organization.
KUMU (an abbreviation of KUnstiMUuseum) has both permanent collections as well as temporary exhibitions, mostly of contemporary or modern art.

Most important permanent collections within the museum are of Estonian art from the 18th century onwards.
These collections include rarities such as social realism and unofficial Soviet art.
Of the temporary exhibitions, meanwhile, you’ll often be able to enjoy Estonian as well as international modern and contemporary artist productions.
