Locanda Novo Hotel Venice is located in the Cannaregio sestiere (district) of the city, a short walk from Rialto bridge, with the nearest water bus (vaporetto) stop at Ca d’Oro.
Thanks to its location, the accommodation is easily reachable from the Venice S. Lucia railway station, from the main terminus for cars (Piazzale Roma), and from the “Marco Polo” international airport.

In terms of the hotel building, the luxurious guest rooms, 9 to choose from in total, are located within a magnificient, historic Venetian building, featuring details such as wrough balconies with stained glass windows (designed and made by Venetian master glassblowers).
The rooms are decorated in Venetian tradition, with private bathrooms with a shower.
Each of the suite rooms carries a name from historical Venetian characters, namely Caterina Cornaro, Marco Polo, Casanova, Vivaldi, Otello, and the Doges.
The most spacious of the suite rooms is ‘Caterina Cornaro room’, which also features one-of-a-kind furniture, stucco works, decorated and furnished to the memory of C. Cornaro – Queen of Cipro, who gave her kingdom to the Serenissima Republic in the XV century.
The richest in terms of decorations and furniture is the suite room of ‘the Doges’, dedicated to the memory of the most important political figures in Venice from 697 to 1797, the rulers of Venice, the Doges.
Other facilities in the hotel include Novo’s common lounge, with features such as Murano glass chandeliers and stuccoed ceilings.
For services, the personnel is available to guest 24 hours a day, with the morning breakfast served to the rooms.
Closest tourist attraction to the hotel is the Santa Maria dei Miracoli Church, just 60 meters away, and Ducal Palace and Saint Mark’s Square both less than 10 minutes of walking from the hotel.
If you arrive to Venice via the Marco Polo airport (12 km by car, 10 km by motorboat from Venice), you have several options to choose from in terms of transportation to the hotel.
For one, you can take public transportation, a ACTV or ATVO bus to Piazzale Roma, to the terminus in Venice, which will take about 30 minutes one way.
Another alternative is to take a private car taxi, which are more expensive to Piazzale Roma.
Many choose to travel to Venice from the airport using motorboats, however.

These motorboats include ‘Alilaguna’ ferries, which is a direct waterbus service to Venice (Saint Mark’s Square). From Saint Mark’s Square, to get to the hotel, you can use ACTV line 1 to reach the hotel, getting off at ‘Ca d’Oro’ stop.
There are also private water taxis at the airport, which will take you directly to the closest point in Venice to the hotel (always agree on the water taxi price before getting onboard).
