The palazzo has been completely renovated over the years, conserving typical features that were found in the homes of Venice’s nobility: Venetian style floors, wooden doors and windows, broad staircases (with wrought iron banisters as well as wooden beams).
Even though the building has conserved traditional features, it contains all the modern hotel conveniences, including wireless broadband internet connection (hot spot) at the hotel’s TV room.
Each of the rooms at the Ca’ Loredan are very comfortably furnished and decorated, a place of oasis after a long day sighseeing and shopping in Venice.
The style of the spacious rooms is bright, with subtle and practical wooden furniture, at the same time pleasant and relaxing for guests, with tiled or wooden Venetian style flooring.
Amenities in the rooms include air conditioning / heating, a minibar, en suite bathroom, and TV.
Breakfast is included in the room rates.
In terms of location, Ca’ Loredan is just a short walk from Piazza San Marco and Rialto, right behind Campo San Luca.
The central location is close to all the main tourist attractions, including the famous Venetian museums, the most famous sites in the city, and the Venetian shopping streets.
One of the attractions nearby to the Venetian bed & breakfast is the famous Scala Contarini (“Bovolo”) staircase in a fusion of Gothic and Renaissance styles, built using a series of upwards winding loggias.
If you need information to getting the most out of your stay in Venice, the hotel’s personnel can advice you on the nearby museums to visit, current events, best itineraries for sightseeing, and restaurants and trattorias with authentic Venetian cuisine.
The personnel can also assist in trips to Murano glass factory, in booking gondola tours, and in getting tickets for concerts, shows, and exhibitions.
Arriving to Venice via Marco Polo airport, there are several options to getting to the hotel.
For one, you can use a private water taxi, but you can also opt to use a “Venezia Air Terminal” bus service, which will take you to Venice’s Piazzale Roma in 20 minutes. From there, you can take water bus (vaporetto) No. 1, getting off at ‘Rialto’ stop.
From ‘Rialto’ stop, you can get to the hotel following Riva del Carbon (on your right), turning left into Calle Corner Piscopia o Loredan. At the end of the street, you’ll find Ca’ Loredan (at No. 4122).
Another alternative is to take ‘Alilaguna’ motorboat service to San Marco (in around 1 hour).
