Venice airport transportation with water buses, buses, and how to get to the S. Lucia train station from the airport.
If you want to use a bus transport, from Marco Polo airport you can reach:
- Venice – Piazzale Roma, using ACTV line 5 or “express service” bus ATVO.
- Mestre railway station, with ACTV line 15 or service “fly bus” ATVO.

To purchase tickets for the ACTV / ATVO buses, you can locate the ticket sales offices from the arrivals hall, and tickets for the ATVO lines can also be purchased on board.

Other destinations served by buses:
Padua: you can get to Padua by a bus, using the routes by fsbusitalia, which has a website available at www.fsbusitalia.it.
Pordenone / Aviano connection to / from Portogruaro-Pordenone-Aviano is guaranteed, meanwhile, by ATVO buses via a daily Marco Polo shuttle.
You can also get from the airport to Veneto spa seaside resorts by ATVO buses. For timetables, routes and costs, please visit their official website at www.atvo.it. Similarly, during the wintertime, you can find buses to Dolomites ski resorts from: Cortina, Dolomitistars, and FlySki Shuttle.
Alternatively, if you’d like to use a water transport, there are Alilaguna boats available. Tickets for these boats, which will take you to the historical center of Venice, are available from ALILAGUNA offices within the arrivals hall, or online from the website Venicelink.com.
You can also use ACTV vaporetto water bus services, with direct connections available by sea to Venice center, Murano, and Lido.

Finally, if you are transporting via railway further in Veneto and elsewhere in Italy, you can use the ATVO and ACTV buses to get to the nearby railway stations of Venice-Saint Lucia and Mestre-Venezia.
To get to the Venezia-Santa Lucia train station, you can use the following buses from the Marco Polo airport:
