For local fashion and other products, good place to go are the streets around Vienna’s historic center, especially Kärntner strasse, Graben, and Kohlmarkt.
These three streets, in fact, have locally been nicknamed ‘Golden U’, due to the shape the streets form & for being high-profile shopping areas.
From the ‘Golden U’, you’ll find, for example, Viennese fashion, original Sacher cakes, and Riedel & Lobmeyr glassware.
